Autodesk ECAD.io is winding down
On August 25th, ECAD.io goes offline. Don't worry, we are working on better ways to address the downstream needs of customers targeting other MCAD software by connecting EAGLE with Fusion Team or Fusion 360. Please have a look at this video to learn more about Fusion Team.
Import ECAD files from popular Electrical CAD Systems like Cadence Allegro, Mentor PADS, Mentor Xpedition, Autodesk Eagle and many more. Ecad.io can read IPC2581 files, native Autodesk Eagle files (from v6 onwards), and the common IDF 2.0 and IDF 3.0 ECAD-MCAD interchange formats.
Preview and explore your Circuit Board online in 3D for free. Locate components and keep-in/keep-out areas. Delete unwanted items and replace simple component shapes with detailed 3D component models from our Library, or upload your own.
Download your 3D board model as a STEP file to use with Mechanical CAD systems like Inventor or SolidWorks. Send it to Autodesk Fusion 360, Autodesk A360 or cloud storage like Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive. Use your 3D model to check for interference, for thermal analysis, or just to create a detailed model of your finished product.

Our Quick Start guide will get you started in no time.
Learn how to get the files you need out of your ECAD system, upload them to ecad.io, modify them if needed, and how to download or send the 3D board model to your MCAD system.
ecad.io reads the standard IDF 2.0, and IDF 3.0 file formats, as well as Autodesk Eagle files (v6 onwards) and the emerging IPC2581 format. We currently write STEP AP214, SAT, STL, OBJ and Parasolid files. See how to get the files you need from your system.
We're working on and adding new features and content to ecad.io all the time and we'd love to hear your feeback. Found a bug? Results not what you expect? Got any ideas for improvements?
We'd really appreciate your feedback.
